My speech NLBC

SHOULD TIK TOK BE BANNED IN SCHOOL?

My intro

Hello my name is Nico and  today I am going to Persuade you about the super popular app, tik tok and whether it should be banned or not in schools.

My opinion.

I think it should be banned because there are rude dances, rude music and there are very, very rude words in the text boxes sometimes. Also people are being robbed by other people on tik tok.

Example

Say for example there was a lady who had 70,000$ in her bank and she was robbed by a tik toker so then her boss donated 70,000$ back because the lady worked very hard for the money. If you go on google and search, “should tik tok be banned in school NZ” you will find heaps of links to sites about it. These sites all agree with my opinion.

Links

Some of the links that I recommend for the adults are Should tik tok be banned - parent zone, parents ultimate guide to tik tok, and tik tok should be banned. The last site that I said is for everyone too. My favorite link is the tik tok should be banned. Those aren't the only sites too there are heaps of different sites. Also if you run out of sites at the bottom of the page you should find a bar and click the end of the bar and it will send you to another page of sites.

The other bad side

One of the most bad things about tik tok  is that too many kids are addicted to  tik tok and they are  becoming foul mouthed, losing manners and being rude. I think the best solution is banning it completely so nobody can rebel and try to take it to school. Also tik tok isn't a very educational app ether. The other really bad thing is that people can track you down and burgle your stuff by stealing your data. Plus If there is an API (Application Programming Interface) to get information on you, your contacts, or your device ... well, they're using it.  Another reason is Feroza Aziz started her TikTok video like a typical makeup tutorial, telling viewers she would show them how to get long eyelashes. Then the 17-year-old stopped abruptly, calling instead on viewers to start researching the harrowing conditions facing Muslims in China's detention camps. The surprising bit of modern satire quickly went viral on TikTok, the short-video app and global phenomenon owned by a Beijing-based tech firm. But in the hours afterwards, Aziz's TikTok profile was suspended. By Tuesday, she told The Washington Post, she remained  unable to access her account.

Conclusion

Thank you for listening to my speech and I hope that I persuaded you that tik tok should be banned in school.
