WALT: Describe our school Olympics
Last Friday (which was the sixth of August 2021) Paparore school participated in the mini Olympics. We did it because the Olympics were on at the same time. I felt pretty gutted at first but in the end it was actually pretty amusing.
Tug-a-war
My favourite part was Tug-a-war because it was an enormous challenge for me and why is because my team had less people then my opponents team but my team emerged victorious in the end by three. I could hear Millan and others like me screaming,”Pull!” Man the other team was really strong though. I thought they were going to have triumph over my team! Probably every one did too. What I found annoying is that each game was six minutes and it felt like one minute! It was as awesome as driving my dad's truck on the beach. If you want to play Tug-a-war you might need to be strong and have a great grip in the ground and why I put in might is because it depends on who you are competing against. As in you could be playing against someone who is younger or weaker than you and mostly you need more than one person to play Tug-a-war.
The Paparore school mini Olympics was one of the best school events that I have ever encountered. My favourite event was definitely Tug-a-war.
