WALT: we are learning to create a smart footprint.
Here is my smart foot print.
I am a Year 5 student at Paparore School School in Northland, New Zealand. Mrs Junjovich is my teacher. My blog is a collection of my work at various stages, across different curriculum areas. Throughout my time at Paparore School I may share draft copies of my work for feedback and feed forward. Other times I will share my final published pieces. I would appreciate any feedback through leaving me a positive, thoughtful, helpful comment. Thank you
Recount of our Water fun day.
Yesterday afternoon me, Millan, Hemi and Samson were having a battle against heaps of children in the school pool. I mean with heaps of other kids as in Kevin, Edmon, Charlie, Zion, Atama, Hemi, Samson and heaps more! Some people brought their own water guns like me. My water gun is a pistol. My water pistol is very simple but effective. It felt like four kids against the world. Every noun and then I would ask Millan, “May I please have your water gun for a short period of time?” He would answer, “OK.” After a while he would give me back my water gun and yell, “Here you go!” I also almost soaked everybody with my water pistol by jumping and shooting before I hit the water shouting, “Gotcha!” When I got hit too many times I would go to the edge of the pool and exclaim, “I need backup!” We were Pretending that the flying balls were bombs and I kept screaming out to Millan, “Watch out!” The people throwing the balls were ruthless! The other kids should have been a little bit more careful in the pool because they were just toppling over me.
Sadly all the fun ended in an hour or so. When I got out I felt like my dog had just slobbered all over me. Other than that it was awesome!
When it rains
It pours,
It floods,
It splashes,
It rushes
And it drenches
Children trying to find
Shelter.
It saturates me, making myself
freeze.
I make rain when I throw a massive
Tantrum and
Bawl
My head
Off.
